How to buy wholesale kratom

Bulk Kratom in South Dakota

Kratom. One supplies wholesale kratom to South Dakota businesses, direct from US manufacturers. State law sets 21 as the age on both sides of the counter, caps 7-OH at 2% of the alkaloid composition and requires a word-for-word health warning on the package. We check each order against SDCL 34-20B-115 and 34-20B-115.1 before we quote.

Short answer

Yes. South Dakota allows kratom under SDCL 34-20B-115 and 34-20B-115.1. Buyers and sellers must be 21 or older, 7-OH is capped at 2% of the alkaloid composition, synthetic alkaloids are banned and the package needs a statutory health warning. There is no state license or testing rule. Kratom. One quotes all six formats to South Dakota businesses, direct from US manufacturers.

Formats we quote for South Dakota

South Dakota names no banned format, but the label and 7-OH rules apply to every product, so we quote only what a lot report can support.

6 products

Leaf powder for South Dakota buyers

Leaf powder is the simplest product to document. The label must give serving size, servings per 24 hours, servings per container and mitragynine and 7-OH amounts.

Crushed leaf for South Dakota buyers

Crushed leaf follows the same package rules as powder. The lot report is what supports the alkaloid amounts printed on the label.

Capsules for South Dakota buyers

A fixed unit per capsule makes the serving and servings-per-container lines easier to state accurately. The mandatory health warning still has to appear in full.

Extracts for South Dakota buyers

South Dakota bans synthetic alkaloids, and whether semi-synthetic or converted 7-OH counts as synthetic is unsettled. We quote extracts against a lot report only, and never ship concentrated or isolated 7-OH products.

Gummies for South Dakota buyers

The statute sets no separate rule for edibles, so the 2% 7-OH cap, the synthetic ban and the full label apply. Mixing in non-kratom substances that affect strength is barred.

Shots for South Dakota buyers

Liquids follow the same statute. Multi-serving bottles need the servings-per-container and per-24-hours figures stated correctly.

How a South Dakota order works

  1. Send your business details, products, quantities and each South Dakota ship-to address through the quote form.

  2. We check the order against SDCL 34-20B-115 and 34-20B-115.1 and tell you if a product or label needs to change first.

  3. We quote the order. Pricing is not published and there is no online checkout.

  4. The manufacturer ships direct to you, with the lot's lab report available for the products you ordered.

South Dakota order checklist

Five things to settle before you place a South Dakota order, in the order they usually come up.

Set an ID rule at the register

Selling to anyone under 21 is barred, and so is buying for an under-21, with a parent or guardian exception. Train staff to check ID on every kratom sale.

Copy the health warning exactly

The statutory warning has to be reproduced word for word from SDCL 34-20B-115.1. Pull the text from the statute page, not from another label.

Check serving figures on multi-serving packages

Labels need servings per 24 hours and servings per container, along with serving size. These are the lines most often wrong on bottles and bags.

Keep 7-OH under 2% on the lot report

The cap is a share of the alkaloid composition, so ask for a lot report that gives 7-OH as a ratio, and file it with the invoice.

Do not blend in other substances

Mixing in non-kratom substances that affect strength is barred. This matters most for gummies, shots and any product you flavor or fortify yourself.

Track the 2027 session

Two 2026 ban bills failed, and no one has confirmed whether a bill will return. Keep stock levels flexible until the session opens.

South Dakota compliance points for buyers

Age 21 on both sides of the counter

State law bars selling to anyone under 21 and bars under-21s from buying, possessing or consuming kratom. Buying for an under-21 is also unlawful, with a parent or guardian exception.

2% of the alkaloid composition

7-OH may not exceed 2% of the alkaloid composition, and synthetic alkaloids, including synthetic mitragynine and 7-OH, are banned. Whether semi-synthetic or converted 7-OH counts as synthetic is not settled in the sources we reviewed.

Package label content

Labels must state serving size, servings per 24 hours, servings per container and the mitragynine and 7-OH amounts, plus a statutory health warning that has to be copied word for word from SDCL 34-20B-115.1.

No license, but a live debate

There is no state kratom license, vendor registration or testing rule. Two 2026 bills to ban kratom, SB 77 and HB 1151, both failed, and no one has confirmed whether a bill will return in 2027.

What the statute asks for on a package, and the records that let you stand behind it.

The statutory warning

The warning text is fixed in the statute and has to be copied word for word. Any change in wording, even a shortened version, is a risk, so reproduce it as written.

Per-24-hour and per-container counts

The label needs both servings per 24 hours and servings per container, plus the mitragynine and 7-OH amounts. Confirm the counts against the lot before the label is approved.

What changed and what to watch

  • February 25, 2025

The Governor signed HB 1056 (SL 2025 ch. 138), which set the current under-21 rules, the 2% 7-OH cap, the synthetic ban and the label rules. Its effective date was not confirmed.

  • January 2026

SB 77, a full kratom ban, died after a Senate motion to place it on the calendar failed 13-20.

  • February 17, 2026

HB 1151, a second full ban, failed on the House floor 27-39 after clearing committee 8-4 on February 12.

  • August 26, 2026

A DEA temporary Schedule I order for mitragynine pseudoindoxyl, MGM-15 and MGM-16 took effect. We do not supply these compounds.

Local rules inside South Dakota

No local rules found. No city or county kratom ordinance was found in the sources we reviewed, including Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Aberdeen. That search was not exhaustive, so we check each ship-to address.

South Dakota compared with nearby states

Wyoming

Same age of 21 and the same 2% 7-OH cap, but gummies are not listed there because the act bars confections.

Minnesota

Age limit only: 21 under state law, with no label, testing or 7-OH rule.

Montana

No kratom law found at all, with no age, label, testing or license rule; the legislature next convenes in January 2027.

Bulk kratom in South Dakota FAQ

Does Kratom. One ship wholesale kratom to South Dakota?

Yes, to business buyers. Orders ship direct from US manufacturers after we review the South Dakota ship-to address against the state statutes.

Which kratom formats can a South Dakota store order from you?

Leaf powder, crushed leaf, capsules, extracts, gummies and shots. Extracts are quoted against a lot report because the status of semi-synthetic or converted 7-OH is unsettled.

Does a South Dakota retailer need lab reports?

The statutes have no testing rule, but the label must state mitragynine and 7-OH amounts and 7-OH has to stay at or under 2%. A lot report is the practical support for both.

Why does Kratom. One use 21 when it is the state age too?

South Dakota sets 21, and we apply 21 and over to every state we serve, to businesses only.

What must a South Dakota label say?

Serving size, servings per 24 hours, servings per container, the mitragynine and 7-OH amounts and the statutory health warning, copied word for word from SDCL 34-20B-115.1.

Did South Dakota ban kratom in 2026?

No. SB 77 and HB 1151 would have banned it, and both failed. We will update this page if a bill is filed for 2027.
