Two-Lot Blend Calculator
The Kratom. One blend calculator shows how much of two lots to mix, by weight, to land on a target lab-tested spec value. Enter the spec of Lot A, the spec of Lot B and your target. The calculator returns the share of each lot, the kilograms of each for your batch size, and the blended cost per kilogram if you add prices. The target must fall between the two lots.

How it works
How the blend calculator works
| Step | Formula |
|---|---|
| 1. Share of Lot A | (Target – Lot B spec) / (Lot A spec – Lot B spec) |
| 2. Share of Lot B | 1 – share of Lot A |
| 3. Kilograms of each lot | Batch size x share |
| 4. Blended cost per kg | Share A x price A + share B x price B |
Worked example
Lot A tests at 12% and Lot B at 4%, and you want 9%. Lot A share = (9 – 4) / (12 – 4) = 62.5%, so Lot B is 37.5%. For a 200 kg batch that is 125 kg of Lot A and 75 kg of Lot B. At $20.00 and $12.00 per kg the blend costs $17.00 per kg, or $3,400.00 for the batch.

Blend Calculator FAQ
What goes in the spec field?
Any single lab-tested value from your certificates of analysis that you want to blend toward, entered as a percentage. The maths is the same for any value that mixes by weight.
Why does it say my target is out of range?
A blend can only land between its two ingredients. Your target must sit between the Lot A and Lot B values.
Will the finished blend test exactly at the target?
Not necessarily. Real blends vary with moisture, mixing and sampling. Treat the result as a starting point and test the finished batch.
Can I leave the prices blank?
Yes. The shares and kilograms work without prices. Add a price per kilogram for each lot to see the blended cost.
